As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of a large-scale solar farm.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing preventative, corrective and reactive electrical maintenance
- Inspecting, testing and repairing electrical systems and equipment
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
- Installing and commissioning new electrical equipment
- Supporting the ongoing performance of HV and LV electrical infrastructure
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records using CMMS software
- Developing and following maintenance procedures and safety documentation
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior technicians
- Working collaboratively with the wider Operations & Maintenance team
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Responding to breakdowns and emergency maintenance when required
- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Current Driver's Licence
- Current First Aid, CPR & Low Voltage Rescue (LVR)
- Strong experience in electrical maintenance and fault finding
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience using maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
