We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician with experience in BESS, industrial, or renewable energy sectors for our client, a leading global energy storage optimiser. This role is suited to a local candidate based near Lake Munmorah / Colongra who is looking for job security in a thriving industry.

The Role
As a Field Service Technician, you will play a key role in building and maintaining large-scale energy storage systems. You will provide hands-on technical commissioning and maintenance support, including:
- Performing annual maintenance tasks
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Servicing and repairing energy storage systems
Requirements
- NSW A-Grade Electrical Licence (Essential)
- 2–4 years’ experience in BESS, renewable energy, power systems, or industrial electrical work
- Knowledge of LV and MV systems, EMS, battery modules, inverter technology, and industrial networks
- Familiarity with PLCs, control systems, PV systems, protection relays, HVAC, fire suppression systems, and AS/NZS 3000:2018 electrical installations
- Experience in HV Switching Operations
- Strong troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning skills in BESS or renewable energy
- Detail-oriented with a project management mindset and strong collaboration skills
- Proficient in MS Office with excellent report-writing and communication skills
- Valid driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel at least 70% of the time
- Must have full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available)
