Phillip Riley Group are looking for a passionate Marketing, Events & Communications Lead to join us on our mission to enable a faster transition to a net zero economy, globally.
This role can be based in Brisbane or Sydney.

Phillip Riley is a household name in the Renewable Energy sector having established the business in 2010 and with offices across Australia and New Zealand, with a presence in North America and the United Kingdom. We were the first Recruitment firm in Australia focused exclusively on the Renewable Energy sector. Our Services including Executive Search & Recruitment, Labour Hire & Payroll, GTO/Apprenticeships, Migration & Events. Our sectors have experienced solid growth in the past 12 months and to ensure we are engaging our clients and candidates with relevant content, when they want it, and how they want to receive it, we need your expertise to manage our marketing, social media and communication strategy and channels to ensure they are delivering the right messages to our audience. You will also be responsible for the supporting our national Events which will allow us to be at the forefront of customer engagement. Other key responsibilities would include positioning the brand in the marketplace to be aligned to the company's vision and entrench our values within Phillip Riley Group through managing an internal communication strategy.

The Role:
  • Create, set-up, go-live and report on Brand, Content, and Digital quarterly tactical marketing campaigns for our primary services and sub-brands - be the gatekeeper of "Best-Practice" marketing;
  • Brand
    • Own and manage compliance to our redefined Brand Architecture and Brand Guidelines;
    • Support the management teams with any front-line asset development or template implementation to make our value propositions tangible and visible to current and prospective clients.
  • Content
    • Create timely, topical, and engaging content for our websites and social media channels inline with our content pillars;
    • Be the expert in LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram content tactics for Recruitment and Services businesses increasing engagement, click-through, and reach;
    • Create fresh SEO content to maintain visibility of our websites and leverage across social media channels.
  • Digital
    • Maintain the marketing requirements of the Job Board & Recruiter Profile plug-ins;
    • Be the main point of contact for site maintenance and performance management with external supplier;
    • Maintain all content related marketing campaign activity on the Wordpress sites.
    • Be hands on creating a yearly plan and strategy with leaders.
  • Deliver Events, and as required to meet Sponsorship obligations and marketing for our events networks.
  • Support the Corporate Team with internal communications around metric reporting dashboards, values, staff news and other relevant internal content.
  • Manage with Marketing Budget with the support of the Head of Shared Services and Leaders
About you
  • 3+ years of experience in generalist marketing roles reporting to leadership with achievements in executing and/or leading Content, Brand, and/or Digital Marketing initiatives for growth.
  • Ready for a stepping stone to marketing leadership - you identify as a self-starter, capable of planning, drafting, reviewing and executing autonomously. Above all confident in your ideas but open to flexibility.
  • Inspired by rapidly evolving mar-tech tools and capable of thinking outside of the box on a limited budget.
  • Technical ability/aptitude across web design and development, SEO, Social media platforms, AI Software;
  • Ability to write professional business content, and present information in a visually stimulating manner, including assisting with Bid & Tender responses;
  • A creative, innovative individual able to table a broad range of ideas to engage with clients and candidates of all demographics; and
  • Enthusiastic, eager to learn and/or have an interest in ways to reduce our carbon emissions and provide a healthier environment for generations to come.
  • Comfortable working with Executive Leaders, Business Owners and Senior Managers.
  • You will thrive in this contract if you are an analytical reporter with a flare for creative thinking driven by high-execution.
  • Recruitment Industry and LinkedIn Organic Content Strategy experience highly valued.
