The Role
The Senior Electrical Engineer role is responsible for the review of the electrical design of all aspects associated with renewable projects. 
As the Senior you will be responsible for the coordination of all aspects of project design review including, but not limited to electrical design, interfacing with multidiscipline design, implementation and testing of high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Interface with current and potential clients and suppliers 
  • Managing/participating in client design, construction, operation workshops (SID, HAZID, HAZOP, CRAW, etc) 
  • Liaise with consultants and external developers 
  • Review of Standards and technical specifications 
  • Technical document creation, development, review and submission 
  • Design reviews and drawing mark-ups 
  • Compile supporting documentation 
  • Concept, technical, electrical, control system and software review 
  • Assist with energy modelling and analysis 
About You: 
  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field. 
  • Solid experience with the design and selection of electrical power systems experience. 
  • Well-developed communication and time management skills, conflict resolution abilities and confidence dealing with a wide range of people. 
  • Experience in managing the requirements of technical persons in facilitating a project (engineering input and the management of engineering risk). 
  • Broad understanding of engineering disciplines and design processes involved in projects.
