About the Role

Join a leading global renewable energy company as an Electrician supporting a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. You'll be responsible for maintenance, fault finding, commissioning, and performance monitoring of large-scale battery systems and associated electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection, maintenance, and testing of BESS infrastructure, including battery modules, inverters, HVAC systems, and switchgear
• Troubleshoot electrical and communication faults across battery management systems (BMS), SCADA, and protection systems
• Support commissioning, energisation, and performance verification of battery assets
• Monitor and report asset condition and system performance through field and SCADA-based tools
• Maintain strict adherence to site safety protocols and environmental standards, including LOTO and job hazard analysis
• Assist in technical documentation, work orders, and compliance reporting

Requirements

• Unrestricted A-Grade Electrical Licence
• HV Switching ticket,
• White Card,
• First Aid/LVR
• 2+ years’ experience in electrical maintenance (power, industrial, or renewables)
• Experience with SCADA, BMS, and high-voltage systems preferred
