Phillip Riley Projects is proud to be partnering with a global leader in Operations & Maintenance services for renewable generation and storage assets to find an experienced Electrician for a permanent position maintaining a utility-scale Solar Farn

The Opportunity

This is a permanent opportunity to join a high-performing site team, taking ownership of the day-to-day maintenance and operation of a utility-scale solar facility. You'll test, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, commission and modify critical plant components — including solar modules, inverters, tracker motors, transformers, switchgear and metering systems — all while keeping performance optimised and visible through the onsite SCADA system.

What You'll Do

• Support project planning, installations, commissioning, inspections and performance testing
• Contribute to and enforce maintenance procedures and work instructions
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate documentation and reporting
• Liaise with remote operators and cross-functional teams to resolve plant issues

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years' experience in a related role, or hands-on experience with power plant electrical systems, SCADA/controls, and preventative/corrective maintenance
• A valid unrestricted Electrical Licence
• Current First Aid & Low Voltage Rescue certification
• White Card and current Driver's Licence
• Confidence testing and troubleshooting MV/HV equipment — transformers, breakers, relays, contactors, motors and inverters
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms and strong MS Office skills
• A self-motivated, safety-first mindset and the highest level of integrity
