ABOUT THE ROLE

An opportunity for an experienced and proactive Electrician to join an Operations & Maintenance team at a 56MW utility-scale solar farm located near Moree, NSW.

This role is part of a global renewable energy operator specialising in solar, wind and energy storage assets. The position plays a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the solar farm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the O&M team, you will be responsible for:
Electrical Maintenance
  • Perform preventive, predictive, corrective and proactive maintenance across site electrical assets
  • Work across LV and HV systems including AC/DC cabling, PV modules, inverters, transformers and substation equipment
  • Ensure maintenance plans, procedures and HV switching instructions are followed safely and on schedule
  • Assist with HV switching programs for isolation and energisation of electrical assets
  • Support spare parts and consumables tracking to ensure uninterrupted operations
REQUIREMENTS
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician)
  • Current Australian Electrical Licence
  • High Voltage Switching Operations training
  • SWMS development experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance across HV/LV systems
  • Experience with inverters, transformers, PV systems and BOP equipment
  • Ability to work independently and support site leadership functions
