About the Role
This is a temp-to-perm Operations Manager position supporting the engineering and project teams to ensure designs are practical, compliant and deliverable. The role will also provide day-to-day operational support and assist with site-based QA and close-out activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing designs/documentation to ensure they are buildable and compliant.
- Supporting engineers and project teams with daily operational deliverables.
- Conducting site visits (initially Canberra-based) to assist with QA and issue resolution.
- Handling customer interaction and relationship support where needed.
- Ensuring projects are closed out accurately with all documentation completed.
- Trade background (Australian Licensed Electrician) with solar installation experience ideal, or prior operations experience.
- Strong problem-solving capability and ability to work autonomously.
- Confident communicator with the ability to liaise across engineering, projects and customers.
- Comfortable being an all-rounder across both office and site-based tasks.
- Motivated, proactive and eager to learn and progress (pathway to PE/PM).
- Genuine career progression into Project Management.
- Exposure to C&I solar and BESS projects across Australia and the Pacific.
